Wayne Rooney Reveals His Final Decision Soon About Man Utd Exit

Wayne Rooney Drops Biggest Hint Yet at Man Utd Exit & Will Come to a Final Decision Soon

Leapyguide.com - Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney has given the strongest hint yet that his record breaking time at Old Trafford will draw to a close this summer, revealing the existence of a number of offers from clubs both in England and overseas.

The former teen prodigy has fallen down the pecking order to a rotation role at United this season and it would appear that an understandable desire to play regular football will determine his choice.

.

Rooney, who became United's all-time leading scorer in January when he netted his 250th goal for the club, has said he's 'more or less' made up his mind and will come to a final decision when he has returned from a holiday in the next few weeks.

“There are lots of offers on the table, both in England and abroad, and that’s what I have to decide on...

"I've got decisions to make now over the next few weeks, have a word with my family, and then I'll decide," the 31-year-old has told the media in the wake of Wednesday's Europa League final.

If Rooney opts to leave United but stay in England, he would only join boyhood team Everton. "I've played for two Premier League clubs and they're the only two Premier League clubs I'll play for," he explained.

"As [Jose Mourinho] said before, he wants me to stay, but I just have to make a decision in terms of a football decision, and that's what I'll do. I'll do that the next few weeks with my family while I'm away and, honestly, as soon as I know what's going on then, I'm sure you will know."

Rooney opted against quitting Old Trafford for an extremely lucrative move to the Chinese Super League in February, citing a desire to see the 2016/17 season through to its completion. He remains under contract at United until 2019 but that isn't an issue.

It is possible that China could yet be an option for him, while Major League Soccer in North America has often been rumoured as a likely destination. LA FC have already expressed interest, although they won't actually join the league until 2018 which puts the new franchise at a distinct disadvantage.
