Fernando Torres Move to Mexico
leapyguide.com-Atletico Madrid striker Fernando Torres is surprisingly rumored moving to the Mexican league in the transfer market this summer of 2017. El Nino, whose contract runs out with Atletico at the end of the 2016/17 season, is reportedly undergoing discussions with one of the MX League clubs, Queretaro.
Excerpted from Football Espana, Torres will most likely be offered a higher salary than he received at Atletico. Queretaro previously also had a big name, namely Ronaldinho in 2014. However, he was then released a year ago due to behavior problems that are not good.
However, the 33-year-old is likely to be officially joined Queretaro in September 2017 because the club is being penalized for a transfer ban.
Although Atletico is also currently being punished with a ban on signing players until January 2018, Los Chochoneros are rumored will release release Torres to give young players the chance to show up and compete on the front lines.
In the 2016/17 season, Torres appeared in 45 matches throughout the event with Atletico Madrid with 10 goals and seven assists.
