New Pogba Just Proved
LEAPYGUIDE.COM - Paul Pogba continues to be in the spotlight because of the value transfer when brought Manchester United. The 24-year-old was called just doing the self-proofing.
Pogba brought in from Juventus by Manchester United with a tag of 89 million pounds. With that big money he became the most expensive player in the world.
Pogba contributed as many as nine goals and six assists in 51 matches with United 2016/2017 season. He also presented three trophies with MU winning the Community Shield, the English League Cup and the Europa League.
Nevertheless, the value of Pogba transfer is considered still overpriced. French national team goalkeeper Hugo Lloris gave defense to his compatriot in the Les Bleus squad.
The match between France and England this week became a means of proofing Pogba. He helped France win the match at the Stade de France with a score of 3-2.
"Maybe he has to prove something, because he is in one of the best clubs in the world and he plays in the Premier League and he has to show his quality," said Lloris on Soccerway.
"Against England, he played great and as a midfielder he has helped the team to master the ball, I have no doubt that he will continue to do better and better," he added.
